This is currently the only Palm Beach 50' available in the United States! Hull number 27, built in Australia and delivered to Florida where she made one trip to the Bahamas and was then delivered to her original owner in Michigan. She stayed in Fresh Water until 2018 when her current owner (second owner) purchased her and had her trucked to Annapolis to take delivery. Upon arriving Annapolis, she was launched and run a short distance to the Northern part of the Chesapeake Bay mostly considered fresh water (slightly brackish) in Georgetown MD. She has lived in Georgetown Maryland since and arrived in Annapolis Monday, October 2nd to be sold. 

Her owner has enjoyed her gently on the Chesapeake Bay only and has been a highly responsible owner always providing an "open checkbook" to her Yacht Management team to handle all aspects of maintenance. The engines have just over 500 hours. Original survey from when this owner purchased in 2018 listed her in "excellent condition" and she remains this way today.

The Palm Beach 50 is seen by many as the quintessential PB Motor Yacht with its sweeping sheer line and sporty, timeless style. They remain well sought after both new and as pre-owned vessels with exceptional reliability and resale value. PBMY continues to update and improve each and every boat that it builds based on the latest technology, products and owner feedback. The PB 50 was first introduced to the US market at the Newport International Boat Show in 2010. The judges voted her “Best New Powerboat” and judged her to have an "elegance of proportion and design" that is "sensational". A big boat that delivers performance and fuel economy with its lightweight composite material construction, the judges were just as impressed with its excellent fit and finish.

Built in Australia to the highest standards available, our factory enables all stages of construction to occur in one facility under the watchful eye of proprietor, Mark Richards. Utilizing solid works 3D design programs coupled with computerized CNC systems and state of the art tooling ensures precise construction.

Latest generation E glass, vinyl ester, epoxy resins and stitched multi-axial fabric over Corecell linear foam are used to provide a very strong, but lightweight hull and deck. All bulkheads and fixed furniture are structurally bonded to the hull and deck for superior strength and rigidity like a performance racing yacht. Each model is engineered with proprietary noise silencing materials and the exclusive Quiet Chine © hull to provide a tranquil environment while aboard.

Palm Beach uses Volvo marine engines and world-class equipment, but will build to client specifications if alternatives are preferred. All engine and ancillary equipment sit atop fully isolated and decoupled engine mounts to reduce noise and vibration. The engine room consists of loaded vinyl acoustic isolation panels, preventing noise from moving outside of the engine room into the boat’s living area.

Our range is inspired from leading edge yacht racing technology and Mark’s experience at the pinnacle of yacht racing in global competition. In applying these philosophies to the design of his classically styled range of motor yachts, he has created a range that offers so much more to the astute boat owner.

Stability and agility are paramount and uncompromised. A trip offshore in rough conditions delivers superb performance with a fine bow entry and warped hull, providing outstanding fuel consumption and comfortable cruising speeds. Maneuverability and ease of handling comes through hydraulic steering, electronic gear selection and optional bow/stern thrusters.

All engine and ancillary equipment sit atop fully isolated and decoupled engine mounts to reduce noise and vibration. The engine room itself consists of loaded vinyl acoustic isolation panels, preventing noise from moving outside of the engine room into the boats living area.

The internal fit out is not unlike that of a high tech racing yacht where the bulkheads and fixed furniture are structurally bonded to the hull and deck further reinforcing the strength and lightweight properties of the hull. When it comes to internal fit out, we offer owners with a choice of either our traditional finish dominated by polished Burmese teak in conjunction with handcrafted joinery or our Contemporary finish. While still using teak trimming, our Contemporary finish utilizes more soft furnishings and composite materials to provide a more modern feel while maintaining our high quality. The choice is yours and as with all Palm Beach Motor Yachts, the fit out is entirely custom to suit each owner.
