Overview

If you're looking for a true performance cruiser with a proven ability on the racing circuit, Second Wind needs to be on your list!
The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 39i is lighter and stronger, with a lower center of gravity, making her ultra stable. The generous beam is carried well aft making the interior volume much more generous than what you would expect on a mid 2000's 39' boat.  The helm is light and responds well with little effort, making it easy to sail. The large cockpit is comfortable for lounging with a centerline table offering plenty of room for dining. Inside, the 3 cabins and 2 heads, plus a fully galley and roomy salon has plenty of space for a large group.
Second Wind was bought new by her current owner and placed in the Sunsail charter fleet in Road Town BVI from 2009-2014.  The owner himself enjoyed her regularly while in charter and made sure the boat was well maintained.  In 2014 the boat came out of charter and to the Chesapeake Bay, where it became a fixture on the Wednesday Night Racing scene as well as plenty of day sails and weekend cruises.

This vessel has a comfortable interior layout that can accommodate a large crew.  Forward a large V-berth, hanging locker, and overhead hatch for ventilation.  There is also the second head with privacy partition.
The saloon is large, airy, and comfortable. A wraparound dinette to starboard, just forward of an L-shaped galley, has seating for five or six. The centerline table also converts to create another berth. Aft of the settee to starboard is a fully equipped galley, and to port is the forward facing navigation station. To port from the galley is the enclosed head with vanity, toilet and shower head.
Aft are the second and third staterooms, each featuring an oversized quarter berth and hanging locker. Both aft staterooms have their own overhead hatches and opening ports for excellent ventilation. Galley
