Overview

Shooting Star has been beloved for 25 years by her current owners, who are the third caretakers of the boat. The classic Morgan Out Island 41 needs little introduction as one of the most popular sailboats over forty feet ever built. This shoal draft & ICW friendly, ketch-rigged vessel is simple, sound and has spent her life sailing the globe.

The center cockpit design features an aft-master suite and a V-berth guest cabin. Interior spaces have smart & ample storage making this comfortable cruiser perfect for extended passagemaking and a liveaboard lifestyle.

She is currently available for showings as she sits in hibernation mode with systems winterized and sails & canvas stored.

Note from the Owners: Shooting Star is a proven blue water cruiser and live aboard boat- taking us across the Atlantic, into the Mediterranean, through the Caribbean, up and down the US East Coast, Intracoastal Waterway and the Chesapeake Bay.  She takes care of her people and keeps them safe in all places and conditions.  She is a wonderful, comfortable place to be.
